Barbell complexes
I’m reading Dan Johns latest book and he mentions Javorek barbell complexes. I only had 30 mins yesterday to get in a workout and I decided to try the complex. The only rule is that once you start you can’t let go of the barbell until you have finished the set, and you want the movements to flow well.
I chose to do this
5 sets 6 reps of
Curls
Snatch grip high pulls
Hang cleans
Push press
Back squats
Back squats jumps
Bent over row
I had 95lbs on the bar and yes it was very difficult. But I have to say today I felt very strong in my workout. So next time your in a pinch try a complex and see what happens
